The
Power Controller Success Story
The Electra success story began over 19 years ago when Jim Archdekin first invented
and patented the TransCon lighting controller. Today, there are over 700 TransCon
units in continual service worldwide.
The Electra represents Mr. Archdekin's latest version of the TransCon controller
which he and his Active ES engineering staff have updated with the latest technology
to provide even greater energy savings and environmental benefits. Energy savings
of 20% to 36% can now be achieved routinely without perceptible loss of light
to the naked eye. In addition, Electra also extends the life of lamps and ballast
by approximately 40% and significantly reduces heat generation for even greater
cost savings.
