consumed in commercial, industrial and street lighting applications.
He teamed with other executives in the formation of Active ES
to introduce the new product, now known as Electra, on a nationwide
basis.
Formed to create and market new energy saving devices, Active ES
continues to respond to the needs of the industry by addressing specific
lighting control needs as well as leading R&D efforts for power
controllers in other energy saving applications.

Active ES’ Electra
is a compact, simple-to-install power controller that can reduce
energy consumption in lighting systems
for industrial, commercial and municipal facilities by up to 36%.
In addition, the product actually prolongs the lifespan of existing
lamps and ballasts and is virtually maintenance free for up to 25
years.
Unlike alternative energy saving lighting systems such as compact
fluorescents or electronic ballasts that require replacing or modifying
each individual lighting fixture, Electra operates with fixtures
that are already in place.
With a low up-front investment and virtually no maintenance required,
Electra normally delivers payback within two years or less. Beyond
this, companies enjoy additional profits through monthly savings
in electricity and peace of mind knowing that they are doing their
part to conserve power and reduce pollution to our environment.
